Your gifts sustain the ARC complex, allowing it to provide programs and services to its clients and beyond. The programs and service ARC provides have been helping Indian River County for over 31 years. Your gift is the satisfaction of knowing your support is the quest for excellence.

We encourage you to visit your tax advisor or attorney regarding options that would best match your situation. Gifts to ARC can be made in multiple ways, i.e., Memorials, Cash, Appreciated Stocks, Planned Gifts Insurance, Trusts and Wills, Charitable Gift Annuities, Appreciated Stock or Other Properties.

Memorials
The ARC of Indian River County accepts donations given in honor, or in memory of an individual or organization. We provide notice and recognition, as well as acknowledgement to the donor. Remembrance can be in the form of designations or unrestricted gifts.

Cash
A gift of cash, usually a check, is the most popular method of contributing to the ARC of Indian River County. A cash gift is deductible on your tax return for the year that the gift is made.

Appreciated Stock or Other Property
Giving appreciated assets to ARC of Indian River County allows you to avoid capital gains tax on appreciated portion if you had sold the asset. In most cases, you will be entitled to deduct the full fair market value, assuming the asset had been held long term.

Insurance
ARC of Indian River County accepts gifts of life insurance – existing or new policies. Transferring ownership of an existing policy and making the Abilities Resource Center the owner/beneficiary provides an income tax deduction. Premiums still being paid are deductible also.

Trusts and Wills
There are many simple ways to include ARC of Indian River County in your will or trust. There are types of trusts that pay you income for life.
