Supported Employment​

​The Arc of Indian River County’s Supported Employment Program empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve meaningful employment in their community. Participants receive individualized support to explore career interests, develop job skills, and secure positions that match their strengths and goals.

Our team provides hands-on assistance throughout the employment journey, including job development, resume building, interview preparation, and on-the-job training. Dedicated job coaches offer ongoing support to help individuals learn tasks, build confidence, and succeed in integrated work environments. As participants gain independence, supports are gradually reduced while natural workplace relationships are strengthened.
